Currently Listening: Stay Together for the Kids
- Blink 182

I'm so glad the weekends here.  I'm so tired.  sorta got a headache thing going.  I'm going to go to that grad thing at Gayla's tonight.  I read this really good book for one of my classes.  I thought it looked pretty boring, especially because I've never been extremely interested in African history.  It was great, called Things Fall Apart.  I finally got around to going to the MU fitness room the other day.  Was pretty cool.  Spring break was too short, but it's only like another 6 or 7 weeks and schools over.  Botany lab was messed up yesterday....our oxygen sensor, used to measure photosynthesis, wasn't working.  Everything was wacky.

Coming home from vacation last night was crazy.  We were near Delaware State College and by mistake got on the wrong road.  There was a road loop that looked like it connected the road we were on to the one we wanted to be on.  So, we turned to go in that direction, and it turns out the loop was railroad tracks and not a road!  It was crazy.  So my dad tried to get the car off the tracks, and he did, but not without burning some rubber.  We went to a motel parking lot and checked out the damage.  It turned out that none of the tires or car frame was messed up.  But the wheel on the front driver's side was bent up a little.  So, instead of waiting for the tire to blow out on us, we got the good old jack out and changed the tire.  Anyway, what a great way to end a good vacation at the beach!  Now I'm at MU.  I just bought books, the bill was lots better than last semester's.  Last semester I spent around $640 dollars, and this semester I got all my stuff for about $220.  I think this will be a great semester.  I have to take another math course to meet my Biology Major's requirments, but I'm not taking any math this semester.  It looks like this semester will be a little easier than the last one, which is awesome.  Hey, I have an NEW XANGA: Life_Itself86, and I finally got AIM: RealAndInPerson.  Later.

Currently Reading: Life Itself : Exploring the Realm of the Living Cell

Hey, I'm at the beach.  It's just great having time to hang out, catch up on some reading, and watch TV.  I'm not planning on swimming though.  I'm sorta starting to get anxious for school to start again, something I thought I'd never say.  It's been great making money and hanging out with friends these past few weeks, but I'm ready to continue to work on continuing my education.  I've been reading this amazing cellular biology book called  "Life Itself,"  and it's just so cool.  I think it far surpasses any the biology and zoology textbooks I've been required to read for college classes.  It's really neat, because it explains in more depth and relates things to everyday things, like diseases caused by genetic mutations.

It's been a while since I wrote anything on my Xanga.  Christmas was great, got cash, which is always great.  I bought an MP3 with the money I got, a Creative Lab Nomad Jukebox Zen Xtra with 30GB of space--About 8,000 songs.  I worked on loading all my music, and some of my sister's U2, White Stripes, and my brothers music too.  I have about 800 songs, so I guess I've got a ways to go.  It's really sweet because the MP3 player has special features like environmental simulation, like making a sound track sound as if it is being heard in a theater, arena,....  So yeah, I got to see the Chronicles of Narnia twice.  Great movie.  I can't wait to see if they follow up with other movies based on the other books.  I'm going to the beach for two weeks, I'll be leaving this Sunday.  No work for 3 weeks YES!

It's all over.  I'm done with my first College semester.  I feel happy/sad and verrrrrry tired!  I'm glad it's all over.  I had a Zoology test this morning, Saturday 17th Dec at 8A.M.  So, I was up bright and early.  Tomorrow's graduation get together thing will be great.  I can't to see all my Home school friends.  I hit 100 on 222 today,  it was the excitement of being done with all my finals!  Ok, i know i shouldn't do that kind of stuff, but it was fun!  I think I'll stop by on Mon. and say hi to my old math buddies at the Hoover's. Hey, I'm not sure what everyone's doing after the party tomorrow, but I'd love to see Chronicles of Narnia, cuz I haven't seen it yet and I've heard it's great!
